Adventures with Levi and Skylin
Levi and Skylin are traveling through the South Carolina State Parks, trying to experience all the highlights each park has to offer. Their journey begins at Hunting Island State Park, where they watch loggerhead turtles lay their eggs and later return to see the hatchlings make their way to the sea at the end of summer. In the fall, they explore the colorful mountain foliage, waterfalls, and mountain overlooks before discovering winter adventures across the state.
As spring arrives, they may celebrate Andrew Jackson Birthday Celebration and search for the rare Oconee Bell near Devils Fork State Park. By late May, they will likely visit Landsford Canal State Park to witness the breathtaking bloom of the Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies, one of the largest populations anywhere. Along the way, they may also spot bald eagles, paddle blackwater rivers, camp beneath star-filled skies, search for hidden geocaches, and discover the history, wildlife, and natural wonders that make South Carolina so special.
