Laurie Suber
Laurie Suber has been an educator for many years, serving as both a teacher and a librarian. Her lifelong career in education has fueled her passion for children, books, and learning. She is also an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoys exploring the beauty of South Carolina, with a special focus on its state parks. Laurie is a proud six-time Ultimate Outsider, meaning she has visited every South Carolina State Park at least six times. She combines her love of photography with her storytelling, using her own photos as inspiration and highlights in her books. A native of Newberry, South Carolina, and a graduate of Winthrop University, Laurie is the author of the South Carolina State Park Adventure Series, Rosie the Ranger Series, Mysteries of South Carolina, and a standalone book, "From Alligators to Zip Lines".

Travel Buddies
Laurie often travels with her sister Michele, who loves GooseChasing, geocaching, and outdoor adventure almost as much as Laurie does. She has also explored with her mom and her youngest sister, Carla, while her daughter Amber once joined the group for a memorable trip around South Carolina. From time to time, friends and family tag along too, making each journey even more fun.
